Two days before Christmas, we got a message that started with “You probably get tons of these requests but I have to try.” Shiloh was adopted from a not-so-reputable rescue by a novice with a big heart with a promise of being a future trail horse once she fattens up. After months of feeding the horse, treating her rain rot, worming her, vaccinating and providing farrier care, her new owner realized there is more going on with Shiloh than she can accommodate. She asked the rescue to take her back. They said no. To make matters worse, Shiloh was turned down by several other rescues. After taking one look at her and reading her story, we simply couldn’t say no. So, we started 2015 by opening our doors to the little paint mare. Welcome home, Shiloh!
